Hraparak: Robert Arzumanyan suspected of selling Armenia vs Albania match
There was a treachery during Armenia vs Albania match, President of Armenia’s Football Federation Ruben Hayrapetyan said in an interview with Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty Armenian service.
“I think this took place. We have to disclose this fact and publish the names of those people. We have no proof now, but we will obtain it,” Hayrapetyan said.
Sources of ‘Hraparak’ paper say a member of the Armenian national football team, Robert Arzumanyan, is one of the ‘suspects’.
There were reports that Armenian football fans have staged protests demanding resignation of the Football Federation’s president.
