Yerevan-based Football Club Pyunik refuses to attend training session in Turkey in view of past week’s
Yerevan-based Football Club Pynuik has refused to participate in a training session in Turkey “in view of the past week’s events”, RIA Novosti news agency reported citing the football club’s press service.
“In view of the events that have taken place in the past week, Pyunik gave up the idea of attending the training session in Turkey. All the prior arrangements have been cancelled,” the club said in a statement.
Pyunik is now considering alternative places for training, and more information will be available.
The Russian news agency notes thar Pyunik founded in 1992 has won 10 Armenian Championships, along with 6 Armenian Cup titles and 8 Armenian Supercups.
