Yerevan hosts session of CIS Council on Labor, Migration and Social Protection of Population
The 18th session of the Consultative Council on Labor, Migration and Social Protection of the Population of CIS member states started in Yerevan today. Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan informed reports about the session agenda.
According to him, the agenda includes over a dozen issues related to labor relations, the regulation of migrant flows, and the exercise of citizens’ rights to social protection.
The press service of the Executive Council of CIS reported earlier that Yerevan session participants will discuss draft documents on life quality standards, a common approach to investigation of damage to workers’ health in the performance of their professional duties, and preparing statistical reports on the protection and conditions of labor in CIS member states.
