Arthur Vardanyan and 20 members of criminal group set up by him arrested for 2 months
The general jurisdiction court of Kentton and Nork Marash administrative districts of Yerevan held a hearing on Friday, November 27. The court granted the petition to arrest the members of the criminal group that was rendered harmless in Yerevan on November 25 by the National Security Service of Armenia (NSS).
Arthur Vradanyan and 20 members of the criminal group created by him have been arrested for two months.
As reported earlier, a criminal group that intended to commit grave crimes in Armenia was detained by NSS on November 25. The Investigative Department of NNS opened a criminal case under the Criminal Code’s Article 223 parts 1 and 2 (creation or leadership of a criminal society) and Article 235 part 3 (illegal purchase, sale, possession and carrying of firearms, ammunition, explosive substances, or explosive devices by an organized group). An investigation is underway.
