“New Generation” seminars of “Kaspersky Lab” held in four universities of Yerevan
With a seminar held in European Regional Academy (ERA), series of “New Generation” seminars of leading company in international computer security “Kaspersky Lab” have started. It will continue on November 30 and December 1 in National Polytechnic University of Armenia, Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University and Yerevan State University.
During the seminars Deputy Chief of Global Center of Research and Threats Analysis, chief of Russian research center of “Kaspersky Lab” and Security Analyst Summit organizer Sergey Novikov presents the following topics:
1. Introduction. About the company. The main trends in development of information technologies,
2. Computer threats. Yesterday, today, tomorrow,
3. Protection of personal data (Privacy). Advices and recommendations.
During ERA seminar Sergey Novikov answered to the numerous questions of the students.
Laureate of the prize of the president of the RA for international contribution to IT sphere and chief executive office of “Kaspersky Lab” Yevgeni Kaspersky says, “Armenia has big opportunities for future development of IT sphere. The country has to enlarge the quantity of qualified specialists, through advanced educational and university programs”.
As regional representative of “Kaspersky Lab” Armen Karapetyan says, the aim of the seminarsheld in universities of Yerevan is to transfer current knowledge to the specialists of information technologies, especially to the future specialists of computer security.
“The implementation of computer security often needs an individual approach: every company has its own computer security problems, which are to be solved by Armenian students of information technologies, future specialists, who gain the appropriate knowledge from the best specialists of “Kaspersky Lab”, said Armen Karapetyan.
