Head of Armenia’s Football Federation says under what conditions he will resign
At a meeting with members of Red Eagles fan movement, President of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) Ruben Hayrapetyan said under what conditions he will resign.
“If Armenia’s national football team will fail at the upcoming qualifying stage of the 2018 World Cup, I will resign. I have never made such statements, but I am saying this now,” R. Hayrapetyan said.
He also explained what he meant by saying that there was a ‘treachery’ during Armenia vs Albania match.
The FFA head stressed that the word ‘treachery’ should be understood more deeply and that he just meant that the football players did not take their training seriously and did not do their best during the match.
