For services rendered to the Nagorno Karabagh Republic, the head of the Police under the NKR Cabinet of Ministers, major-general Kamo Aghajanyan was awarded the “Mkhitar Gosh” medal, according to the press service of the NKR President Office.

For personal bravery shown in the battles for the defense of the Motherland and for performing the official duties with high responsibility, the following individuals were awarded “For Service in Battle” medal:

Nahapet Baghdasaryan - police captain, senior inspector of transport police control point of the NKR Police;

Vachik Danielyan - police major, senior inspector-sentry of the Askeran regional department of the NKR Police;

Samvel Khanumyan - police senior sergeant, senior of the N1 unit of the security battalion of the NKR Police state security department;

Arthur Hayrapetyan - retired senior sergeant of the Police, former detective officer of the criminal investigation division of the Askeran regional department of the NKR ministry of internal affairs;

Vahan Poghosyan - police major, senior inspector of the transport control service unit’s N 2 officer squad of the NKR Police Board transport police.

The head of the public order maintenance department of the Police under the NKR Cabinet of Ministers, lieutenant colonel Grigory Abrahamyan and the head of the information center of the NKR Police, lieutenant colonel Gegham Gabrielyan received the military ranks of police colonel.
