“No” Front of constitutional reform opponents stages rally in Yerevan
A rally of ‘No” Front of opponents of the constitutional reform in Armenia has started in Liberty Square of Yerevan.
The secretary of the opposition parliamentary faction ‘Armenian National Congress’ Aram Manukyan said in his speech that the purpose of the constitutional reform is reproduction of power.
Manukyan urged Armenian citizens to participate in the upcoming constitutional referendum in Armenia on December 6 and to say ‘no’ to the proposed amendments to the Constitution.
To remind, opponents of the constitutional reform in Armenia set up ‘No’ Front that currently includes two camps. The first is ‘New Armenia’ Public Salvation Front established by opposition Heritage Party and opposition civic initiative Founding Parliament. The second camp is ‘No’ movement formed by opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) and People’s Party of Armenia, which already set up a joint office for campaigning ahead of the December 6 referendum.
