Armenia’s Investigative Committee opens case over death of soldier Erik Grigoryan due to Azerbaijani subversion
Armenia’s Investigative Committee opened a criminal case in connection with the death of Armenian servicemen Erik Grigoryan. The case was opened under the Criminal Code’s Article 104 part 2 points 6 and 13 – murder motivated by ethnic, racial or religious hatred and committed in a way dangerous to lives of many people, the press service of Investigative Committee said.
As was reported, around 4:30 am today, on December 4, Azerbaijani troops made yet another reconnaissance-subversive infiltration attempt in the northeastern (Talysh) direction of the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan, according to the press service of Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic. The frontline units of NKR Defense Army promptly foiled an Azerbaijani subversive group’s attempt to advance. The enemy retreated to the previous positions, suffering losses. A serviceman of the NKR Defense Army - Erik Ediki Grigoryan, 20, has died from a gunshot wound.
