NKR Defense Ministry: Azerbaijan continues intensively violating ceasefire
Azerbaijani troops continue to violate intensively the ceasefire on the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan by using small arms of various calibers and mortars, according to the press service of Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
Yesterday, on December 4, and on the night of December 5 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire about 110 times on the line of contact.
During that period Azerbaijani frontline units fired over 1,600 shots at Armenian positions from small arms of various calibers, 60mm (29 shells) and 82mm mortars (82 shells), as well as RPG-7 (1 shell), AGS-17 (8 shells) and ‘Mukha’ (‘Fly’) grenade launchers.
The frontline units of NKR Defense Army control confidently the frontline situation and take preventive measures if necessary.
