Armenian police urge relying on credible information about referendum voting
The police of Armenia have urged reporters covering the constitutional referendum, as well as NGO members, observers and experts to rely only on facts and credible information when presenting the conduct or an episode of voting.
“Only in this case will it be possible to respond efficiently and present a clear picture of the process,” the head of PR and Information Department of the Armenian police Ashot Aharonyan wrote on his Facebook page.
Voting in the referendum on the constitutional amendments started at 1,997 polling stations across Armenia at 8:00 am on Sunday, December 6. Voting will end at 8:00 pm Yerevan time.
