Some motorways barely passable in Armenia
Armenian motorways were mostly passable as of 9:00 am today, on December7, according to the press service of Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations.
Sotk-Karvachar and Berd-Chambarak motorways and Vardeniats mountain pass are barely passable.
Some sections of highways are covered with ice, such as Vanadzor-Alaverdi, Hrazdan-Hankavan, Tigranashen-Zangakatun, and Yerevan-Sevan highways and serpentine roads in Dilijan.
Stepantsminda-Lars motorway is open to all types of vehicles with antiskid chains, Emergency Situations Department of Georgia’s Interior Ministry said.
