NKR Defense Ministry: Azerbaijan violated ceasefire about 250 times
Azerbaijani troops continue violating intensively the ceasefire on the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan, according to the press service of Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
Yesterday, on December 7, and the night of December 8 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire about 250 times on the line of contact.
During that period Azerbaijani frontline units fired over 2,700 shots at Armenian positions from small arms of various calibers, 60mm-caliber (137 shells), 82mm (209 shells) and 120mm mortars (52 shells), RPG-7 (11 shells) and AGS-17 grenade launchers (93 shells), as well as Turkish-made TR-107 rocket launchers (42 shells).
The frontline units of NKR Defense Army continue to perform confidently their military duties, taking punitive actions to stop offensive operations of the Azerbaijani side.
