Zhoghovurd: Sargsyan did not say who to be entrusted with post of Armenian parliament speaker
‘Zhoghovurd’ paper writes that prior to the referendum on the constitutional reform, Armenian President, Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Serzh Sargsyan said in a conversation with his associates that he would become prime minister. He also underlined the need to actively prepare for the 2017 parliamentary elections after the reform and to form a majority. After April 9, 2018, when the term of Sargsyan ends, in accordance with the program of RPA’s head, he will announce his intention to go into retirement. According to the newspaper’s source, during that period members of Republican Party will initiate the process of S. Sargsyan’s return so that he would not quite active politics and could become prime minister.
Serzh Sargsyan, when speaking about his plans, did not name the person to whom he will entrust the post of Armenian parliament speaker.
