President Sargsyan receives board members of Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received today, on December 8, board members of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development (EFSD), the presidential press service reported.
The president welcomed the guests who arrived in the capital city of city Yerevan for the 24th meeting of the EFSD Board. He expressed hope that the Board’s first meeting in Yerevan will be effective and provide the participants with the opportunity to become acquainted with Armenia, its development, and the existing economic situation.
S. Sargsyan noted that Armenia’s cooperation within the framework of EFSD is developing successfully. He expressed confidence that the implementation of EFSD-funded investment and infrastructure projects in Armenia will contribute to socioeconomic progress of the country.
The interlocutors agreed that the implementation of investment projects will enable to further strengthen the integration ties between Armenia and\other EFSD member countries.
The sides expressed confidence that overcoming jointly the existing challenges is much easier.
