Armenian parliament adopts draft law on 2016 state budget of Armenia
The National Assembly of Armenia has adopted today the draft law on the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2016. The draft law was adopted by 97 votes to 12, with 3 abstentions.
The secretary of ARF-Dashnaktsutyun faction Aghvan Vardanyan announced prior to the vote that ARFD will not vote on the draft.
Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) voted for adoption of the state budget of Armenia, while Heritage and Orinats Yerkir factions voted against. Two MPs of opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) faction – Hrant Bagratyan and Nikol Pashinyan who attended the NA sitting have also voted against.
