NKR Defense Ministry: Azerbaijani troops continue intensively violating ceasefire
Azerbaijani troops continue to violate intensively the ceasefire along the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan, the press service of Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic reported.
Yesterday, on December 9, and the night of December 10 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire about 200 times on the line of contact.
During that period Azerbaijani frontline units fired over 2,700 shots at Armenian positions from small arms of various calibers, 60mm (39 shells), 82mm (230 shells) and 120mm (37 shells) mortars, and RPG-4 (4 shells) and AGS-17 (40 shells) grenade launchers. Besides, Azerbaijan used Turkish-made TR-107 rocket launcher (7 shells).
The frontline units of NKR Defense Army are in full control of the situation on the frontline and confidently perform their military duties.
