Deputy culture minister: No changes planned in Armenia’s coats of arms
No changes are currently planned in the state coat of arms of Armenia, Deputy Culture Minister of Armenia Arthur Poghosyan said today in the National Assembly of Armenia during debates of the government-submitted draft law on amendments and additions to the Law on the State Coat of Arms.
In response to the question of member of the opposition Prosperous Armenia faction Vahan Babayan who asked if any changes will be made in the state coat of arms, the main speaker, deputy culture minister replied: “We still have no plans to submit proposals regarding a change in Armenia’s coat of arms. The matter concerns only technical amendments”.
