Zhoghovurd: Government decides to save on air tickets
‘Zhoghovurd’ paper says that the Armenian government has finally begun mulling ways to reduce expenditures. In particular, at the regular session of the government yesterday Minister-Government Staff Chief David Harutyunyan said that air tickets for business trips in February-March 2016 will be bought in centralized order, and a special system will be worked out to this purpose.
Harutyunyan said all employees of the executive bodies will henceforth travel economy class, with the cheapest tickets to be purchased.
An exception was made for members of the Security Council. Out of the ministers, only foreign and defense ministers may fly business class.
