Lawyers: Permaykov is Satanist who stabbed 6-month-old Seryozha Avetisyan for sacrifice
The general jurisdiction court of Armenia’s Shirak province is holding today a hearing of the Avetisyan family murder case. The defendant is Valery Permyakov, a former soldier of the Russian 102nd military base in Armenia. The court hearing is being held in the territory of the Russian 102nd military base in the city of Gyumri, Armenia. Judge Harutyun Movsesyan chairs the hearing.
Lusine Sahakyan, a lawyer of the aggrieved party – the relatives of the Avetisyan family – said at the trial that Valery Permyakov is a Satanist, a member of a Satanic group.
Another lawyer for the aggrieved party, Yerem Sargsyan, also presented information that V. Permyakov posted Satanic statements on social networks and that he is a member of a Satanic group consisting of several people. According to the lawyer, in this connection they filed a petition to the preliminary investigation body, but the petition was rejected.
“Only a man worshiping a Satanic ideology could stab a 6-month-old baby (editor: Seryozha Avetisyan), while carrying a loaded gun, in order to sacrifice him to his Master. It is a very important motive. It is obvious to us that he is a Satanist,” Y. Sargsyan said.
A third lawyer of the aggrieved party, Yervand Varosyan, asked the prosecutor if they considered such a motive behind the crime. The prosecutor replied that it was substantiated during the criminal case investigation that the accused man broke into the house of the Avetisyans for the motive of armed robbery.
To remind, based on the evidence collected during the preliminary investigation, V. Permyakov was charged under the Armenian Criminal Code’s Article 104 part 2 points 1, 5, and 8 (contract murder of two or more people committed with cruelty, for mercenary motives, and combined with extortion, robbery or banditry), Article 175 part 2 points 3 and 4 (robbery committed after a break-in, with the use of weapons or other objects used as a weapon), and Article 34-329 part 1 (attempted violation of the state border of the Republic of Armenia without the necessary documents or permission). Permyakov pleaded guilty to the charges. A Russian garrison military court subordinate to the North Caucasian district military court held a hearing on August 12 in the Armenian city of Gyumri. The court sentenced Valery Permyakov to 10 years in high-security prison for desertion and theft of weapons. The murder proceedings were separated into a case and transferred to the Armenian side.
