President of the Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) Republic Bako Sahakyan sent a congratulatory address in connection with the Day of the National Security Service Serviceman, according to the presidential press service.

The address runs as follows:

“Respected workers and veterans of the National Security Service,

On behalf of the Artsakh authorities and myself personally I cordially congratulate you on your professional holiday.

Your complicated and hard work aimed at ensuring and maintaining security of an individual, society and state, its sovereignty, constitutional order and national interests is difficult to overestimate. For successful and efficient implementation of this significant mission such ideals as high professionalism and responsibility, great devotion to the Motherland and native people are required from every worker of the system.
Various military-political developments, which are taking place in the world now, require new approaches and solutions in the realm of national security. Within this context your work should be improved on a continuous basis taking into consideration the time requirements.

I am confident that servicemen of the Artsakh Republic National Security Service will do everything possible for efficient realization of their functions stipulated by the law. The state in its turn will continue the activities aimed at improving your working and social conditions.
