President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan signed decrees in connection with the Professional Day of the National Security Service Serviceman.

According to the decrees, for personal bravery and courage shown during the performance of combat duties, servicemen of the NKR National Security Service Ashot Grigoryan and Gagik Sargsyan were awarded "For Courage" and "For Service in Battle" Medals correspondingly.

On the same day the President signed an order on handing in valuable gifts to seven servicemen of the NKR National Security Service for impeccable performance of duties.

On 19 December President Bako Sahakyan also visited NKR’s National Security Service and partook at a solemn event devoted to the professional Day of the National Security Service Serviceman.

The President congratulated the National Security Service staff with the professional holiday and handed in state awards and valuable gifts to a group of the system's workers.

Bako Sahakyan highlighted in his speech the activity of the National Security Service targeted towards ensuring and safeguarding security of people, the society and state, as well as sovereignty, constitutional order, national interests, adding that the state would continue to keep in the spotlight the solution of problems the structure faces.
