Karabakh Defense Ministry: Azerbaijan used 122mm howitzer D-30
During armed clashes on the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan yesterday, on December 20, and the night of December 21 the Azerbaijanis side fired over 1,700 shots at Armenian positions from small arms of various calibers, 60mm (236 shells), 82mm (155 shells) and 120mm mortars (23 shells), RPG-7 (3 shells) and AGS-17 grenade launchers (4 shells), and Turkish-made rocket launcher TR-107 (24 shells), according to the press service of Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
Azerbaijani troops also used 122mm howitzer D-30 in the southern direction of the line of contact (Hadrut).
The frontline units of NKR Defense Army took punitive actions to stop provocative steps of Azerbaijan and continued to perform confidently their military duties.
