Artsrun Hovhannisyan: Azerbaijani army had 200 casualties in 2015
The situation on Armenia-Azerbaijan border is calm in the recent period, the spokesman for Armenian defense minister Artsrun Hovhannisyan told a press conference today.
“One or two dozen ceasefire violations were reported, but it is an everyday occurrence and we hope that this situation will continue,” he noted.
According to A. Hovhannisyan, a flare-up in tensions is usually due to different domestic political and foreign political reasons, which is followed by a relative calm.
The spokesman said that according to some reports, the Azerbaijani army suffered 200 casualties in the current year 2015.
