NKR Defense Ministry: Armed clashes continue on Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact
Armed clashes continued on the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan yesterday, on December 21, and on the night of December 22, according to the press service of Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR).
During that period Azerbaijani troops fired over 900 shots at Armenian positions from small arms of various calibers. In the northern and northeastern directions of the line of contact the Azerbaijani side also used Turkish-made TR-107 rocket launchers (8 shells), 60mm and 82mm mortars (16 shells), and SPG-9 and AGS-17 grenade launchers.
The frontline units of NKR Defense Army continue to be confidently in control of the operational situation and defend efficiently the army positions.
