Hraparak: Presidential talks in Bern took place in quite oppressive atmosphere
‘Hraparak’ paper writes that despite the positional advantage of the Armenian side, the talks of the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents in Bern took place in quite an oppressive atmosphere. The face-to-face meeting was the only serious progress.
“In general, Aliyev doesn’t care a straw about anyone, first of all the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs. The only thing he is afraid of is the possibility of Russian intervention. Aliyev is preparing for a long confrontation based on the principle of border incidents. Nevertheless, he has begun to deal with the Karabakh problem to a lesser degree as he now considers it more important to retain his high post. He left the Karabakh problem for Hasanov to address”, the paper writes.
