NKR Defense Ministry: Azerbaijani troops fired over 2,000 shots at Armenian positions
During armed clashes on the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan yesterday, on December 22, and the night of December 23 the Azerbaijani side fired over 2,000 shots at Armenian positions from small arms of various calibers, according to the press service of Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
In the northern direction of the line of contact Azerbaijani troops also used ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft guns (58 shells), 82mm mortar, and AGS-17 grenade launcher.
The frontline units of NKR Defense Army remain in control of the situation on the frontline and continue performing confidently their military duties.
