“We are not afraid”, Tavush pupils say
“Shots are always fired. A shelter was built in our school, we take cover there during shootings, but we are not afraid: we know that our soldiers protect the army positions well, they will defend our village,” Seryozha, a 5th grader from Voskevan village of Armenia’s Tavush province, told Panorama.am.
6th grader from Voskevan village Hrant Avagyan is sure that the soldiers will not let the enemy enter into their village.
He and several other children from their village were invited to the Armenian Presidential Palace today on the occasion of the upcoming New Year and Christmas. The participants in the festive event included kids from several communities of border provinces (Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor, Ararat, and Tavush), as well as children of Syrian Armenians who found refuge in Armenia, handicapped children, and prize winners of Olympiads.
