Government of Armenia approves order of paying maternity benefits to non-working mothers
At the weekly session today the Armenian government approved order of paying maternity benefits to non-working mothers.
Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan said at the government session that rumors that from 2016, non-working mothers will receive benefits only starting March 2016 are not true.
According to the minister, in the certificate of pregnancy and maternity disability, the 210th day of pregnancy will be indicated as the start of temporary disability, regardless of the day when the certificate was issued.
