ARF-Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD) Party wants three governorships instead of ministerial portfolios. The party has no administrative resource or the necessary rankings to gain deputy mandates in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia in 2017, while governor positions will give the party the necessary resource. ARFD wants to get those posts in Armenia’s most densely populated provinces – Armavir, Ghegharkunik and Ararat, ‘Zhamanak’ paper says.
