Henrikh Mkhitaryan member of ‘symbolic team’ of footballers born in USSR
Based on the results of the year 2015, Championat.com released the lineup of its symbolic team of footballers born in the former Soviet Union.
Armenia national football squad captain and Borussia Dortmund (BVB; Germany) midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been included in the “symbolic team.
“Henrikh Mkhitaryan is having his best season in the [German] Bundesliga,” the website wrote. “Most of the season is still ahead, but Mkhitaryan, with 1.5 dozen goals, has become the footballer of the year in Armenia.”
