Suspects named in Musaler restaurant shooting in Armenia
The murders in Musaler Restaurant in Armenia’s Armavir province that left one man dead and another wounded today have been solved, the press service of the Armenian police reported.
Three men suspected in committing the crime have been identified by the police as Arthur Babayan, 31, Armen Paravyan, 42, and Khoren Khachikyan, 31.
It was found that around 12:10 am on January 6 a group of people was at Musaler Restaurant near Yerevan-Etchmiadzin highway when an argument broke out, during which Arthur Babayan fired shots from a gun he carried illegally at two residents of Taronik village – Aram Karapetyan, 22, and Armen Khlghatyan, 35.
Karapetyan was killed in the shooting, while Khlghatyan was wounded in the thigh and taken to Yerevan hospital No 1.
The police are looking for two other men, who were involved in the incident and not identified so far, and the crime weapon.
