Dolce & Gabbana unveils collection for Muslim women
Italian luxury fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana has launched a collection for Muslim women, including veils and long dresses with neutral colours and flowery patterns and prints, The West Australian reported.
Designer Stefano Gabbana posted photos on his Instagram profile showing two models wearing hijabs with long tunics.
The designer said the collection was called “Abaya”, the term used for dark robes worn by some Muslim women.
The fashion house has presented the collection in the Arabic edition of Style.com, the online edition of Vogue, which introduced a 20-photo album of the new D&G collection.
Abaya Collection includes veil and robe sets with embroidery and geometric and flowery patterns in neutral colours such as black and light brown, in addition to sunglasses and other accessories.
