There will be no spring holidays in Armenian schools: Education minister
“The 10-day break in the educational process has created additional problems, but the winter holidays were extended due to healthcare issues,” Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan told journalists today.
As for make-up classes to compensate for the extension of the holidays due to swine virus and acute respiratory infections, the minister said there will be no spring holidays in Armenian schools.
“These will be makeup classes for 5 days. As regards the remaining 5 days, schools will have an option to add an extra hour to classes each day or to hold classes on five Saturdays,” Ashotyan said.
