Seyran Ohanyan, Andrzej Kasprzyk discuss situation on border with Azerbaijan
Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received on January 21 Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk, according to the press service of Armenian Defense Ministry.
The situation on Armenia-Azerbaijan state border and on the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan was discussed at the meeting.
The defense minister spoke about the Azerbaijani side’s recent provocations and the response actions of Armenia. S. Ohanyan indicated the need to develop international mechanisms of investigation aimed at increasing control over the situation.
Ambassador Kasprzyk expressed concern about regular escalations of the situation and promised to take relevant measures.
