French minister Annick Girardin: Adoption of anti-Armenian resolutions in PACE would be wrong stance on Armenia
France’s position is that it would be a wrong stance on a country like Armenia, French Secretary of State for Development and Francophonie Annick Girardin said during her visit to the Tsitsernakaberd Genocide Memorial toady when speaking about the two draft resolutions introduced in the PACE.
According to her, several countries participate in the PACE and France cannot allow itself to intervene in the policy of different countries.
“In any case, France is represented in that organization by MPs and senators. We did not evade, we said that France’s position on the issue is that it would be an incorrect stance on a country like Armenia,” Annick Girardin said adding that it will become clear soon whether the reports will be adopted or not.
