PACE adopts Milica Markovic’s scandalous report on Sarsang reservoir
“Inhabitants of frontier regions of Azerbaijan are deliberately deprived of water” – a scandalous report prepared by Milica Markovic, an MP from Bosnia and Herzegovina - was adopted today by 98 votes to 71, with 40 abstentions, at the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) today.
Earlier today, the PACE voted on another controversial report on Karabakh – the draft resolution “Escalation of violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and the other occupied territories of Azerbaijan” that was prepared by British MP Robert Walter and drew a wide response. The report was rejected in a 66-77 vote.
