PACE President Pedro Agramunt announces start of debates on two anti-Armenian reports
During the winter session of the PACE, the new President of PACE Perdo Agramunt announced today the start of debates on two anti-Armenian reports.
PACE is expected to vote today, on January 26, on two draft resolutions related to Nagorno Karabakh: “Escalation of violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and the other occupied territories of Azerbaijan” by British MP Robert Walter – a controversial report that drew a wide response, as well as “Inhabitants of frontier regions of Azerbaijan are deliberately deprived of water” by Bosnian MP Milica Markovic.
A PACE MP, Danish parliamentarian Mogens Jensen presented the report of Robert Walter. ‘At the meeting of PACE Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy, the Armenian delegation asked that the report be rejected, but the Committee adopted the draft,” M. Jensen said.
Then Milica Markovic presented her report.
