Seyran Ohanyan: Armenian borders are impregnable, Azerbaijani troops did not advance
Armenia’s borders are impregnable and guarded by the corresponding units of the Armed Forces, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told a briefing today at Vazgen Sargsyan Military Institute.
At reporters’ request, the minister also commented on Azerbaijani mass media reports that Azerbaijani troops allegedly gained control of the height of Odundagh. “There has been no change in the alignment of forces, no advancement of the enemy positions. Setting up a post in the depths of the protective zone, several kilometers away fro us does not mean that they gained an advantage,” Ohanyan said.
The minister asked a representative of the command staff to explain the situation. The officer said that the height of Odundagh has never been controlled by the Armenian side.
