PM Hovik Abrahamyan: Armenian army is the pride of our people and country
The Armenian army is the pride of our people and country, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan told reporters today at Yerablur Military Cemetery.
On the occasion of Army Day marked in Armenia on January 28, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, accompanied by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and top leaders of the country, visited the Yerebalur Military Cemetery in Yerevan and paid tribute to the memory of Armenia’s sons who sacrificed their lives for the independence of the Motherland.
“We have what to be proud of. It has been the greatest achievement since Armenia gained independence. I congratulate our servicemen, officers, generals on Army Day. I want to greet the military who now protect the borders of our Homeland and the security of our country,” the PM said.
In his words, the Armenian armed forces formed 24 years ago invigorate the Armenian people.
