Armenian music plays in Sarajkund historic site of India
The Surajkund International Crafts Mela (Festival) began on February 1 in Sarajkund historic site of India. It is the second time that Armenia is participating in the festival, according to Armenian Ministry of Culture. This year Armenia is represented by Mikhael Sadoyev - a musician, maker of national musical instruments, Lilit Melikyan – director of Terian cultural center, painter and designer, Anush Yegiazaryan – a tapestry weaver, and the program coordinator Arevik Peyrosyan who is a painter and decorator.
Armenian traditional musical instruments, handicrafts and tapestries will be made at the Armenian stall during the festival. Armenian national music, including duduk music, will be played at the stall. The festival will run until February 15.
