Iraq-Iran-Armenia road under discussion: Armen Yeritsyan
There is an objective of deepening Armenian-Iranian cooperation in all spheres, Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situation Armen Yeritsyan said today at a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Seyed Kazem Sajadi, the press service of the Armenian ministry reported.
For the purpose of promoting cooperation between various regions and cities, the Iranian ambassador asked Minister Yeritsyan to send invitations on behalf of the ministry to governors of Iranian provinces of Isfahan, Hormozgan, Gilan , as well as Tehran. The visits will help promote cooperation between provinces of Iran and Armenia, especially in agriculture and fish farming.
Underlining the importance of establishing closer bilateral ties at the level of provinces, Armen Yeritsyan gave instructions to prepare invitations. He assured the Iranian ambassador that Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations (MTAES) will do its best to boost Armenian-Iranian cooperation and take it to a qualitatively higher level.
The minister then presented the services and functions of MTAES, pointing out the areas where the ministry can contribute to the deepening of the bilateral cooperation. He also spoke about his visit to Iraq, noting that an Iraq-Iran-Armenia road is under discussion.
