Two Parajanov films on list for Harvard University cinema studies program
Two films by Armenian director Sergei Parajanov – ‘Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors’ (1964) and ‘The Color of the Pomegranate’ - were included in the list of films to be viewed by students enrolled in Harvard University’s cinema studies program, according to god-kino2016.ru.
The list is made up of 800 best films of world cinema, including Russian films by renowned directors such as ‘War and Peace’ by Sergei Bondarchuk, ‘Ordinary fascism’ by Mikhail Romm, ‘The Cranes are Flying’ by Mikhail Kalatozov, and others.
