Haykakan Zhamanak: Budgetary office starts operating in Armenian parliament
A budgetary office started operating in the Armenian parliament. Gagik Barseghyan, an expert of the parliament’s standing committee on financial , credit and budget issues, has been appointed its head, according to ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily.The office will provide expert assistance on draft budgets and issues related to their preparation.
Hraparak: Structural changes of government to be approved at special session of parliament
‘Hraparak’ paper writes that the Armenian government said that next week it will initiate a special session of the parliament to approve structural changes of the government. In particular, Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations will be split. The Ministry of Territorial Administration is expected to be headed by ARF-Dashnaktsutyun member David Lokyan. According to the paper, next week the Republican Party of Armenia will hold sittings of its Executive Body and Council, after which an official announcement will be made about a coalition with ARFD.
