Five Nobel Prize winners to deliver lectures in Armenia
Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi is organizing an unprecedented event on February 11-16: five Nobel Prize winners in biochemistry, physics and medicine are scheduled to deliver lectures.
Lectures will be given by biologists Aaron Ciechanover (Israel) and Ada Yonath (Israel), chemist and physicist Dan Shechtman (Israel), pathologist John Warren (Australia) and chemist Ei-ichi Negishi (Japan)/ The renowned scientists will speak about discoveries made by Nobel Prize winners and scientific achievements, thus providing a unique opportunity to learn of events that changed the world. This will be also a chance for a scientific dialog among bearers of different cultures and traditions representing various scientific schools.
