Some roads barely passable in Armenia
Motorways in Armenia were mostly open as of 9:00 am today, on February 8, according to Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations.
Vardeniats mountain pass is closed.
Sotk-Karvachar, Vayk-‘Zanger’, Alagyaz-Artik, Aparan-Spitak, and Urasar-Katnaghbyur motorways are barely passable.
Vayk-‘Zanger’, Goris-Sisian-‘Zanger’ roads are covered with black ice.
The ministry urged drivers to use the abovementioned roads only in case of emergency.
Stepantsminda-Lars motorway is open for all types of vehicles, Emergency Situations Department of Georgia’s Interior Ministry.
