The Exhibition “Fathers and Sons” of Armenian Artists is Displayed in Moscow
In the Museum of the Armenian Diocese of New Nakhichevan and Russia working under the Armenian Apostolic Church monastery a joint exhibition of one of the Honored Artist of Russia, correspondent member of Russian Academy of Arts Yuri Grigoryan and his son Yuri Grigoryan Junior was opened.
During the opening ceremony current Ambassador of Armenia to Russia Oleg Yesayan was present.
According to the report of the department of press, information and public relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the exhibition “Fathers and Sons” more than 40 paintings as well as other Armenian theme works and portraits of prominent Armenians were displayed.
Currently, the works of father and son Grigoryan are displayed at the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the State Museum of Oriental Art and the National Gallery of Armenia.
