Republican candidates won in three enlarged communities
Central Electoral Commission published the results of the elections to the local self-government bodies in Tumanyan, Tatev, Dilijan commuinities.
Armen Santrosyan won in Dilijan with 6797 votes. He was the mayor of Dilijan before. His only competitor, non-partisan Jora Sahabalyan received 4353 votes.
Levon Zavaryan, Republican candidate won in Tumanyan with1687 votes. He previously also headed the Tumanyan community.
Murad Simonyan, current mayor of Tatev, Republican representative, also won with 1236 votes. Earlier, according to the RA law on “Administrative and territorial division of the Republic of Armenia" and on "Amending the RA Law”, by combining Syunik province’s Shinuhayr, Tatev, Halidzor, Harzhis, Svarants, Khot, Tandzatap, Kashuni, Tavush province' s Dilijan, Haghartsin, Teghut, Gosh, Aghavnavank , Khachardzan, Hovk, Lori province's Tumanyan , Martz, Qarinj, Lorut, Shamut, Atan, Ahnidzor, new communities were formed named respectively Tatev and Dilijan and Abovyan.
24,785.9 AMD thousands for conducting the elections will be provided from state budget to Central Electoral Commission and 1,954.0 AMD thousands will be provided to police.
