288.0 kg of Sevan’s "whitefish" were confiscated from the illegal selling places
During the inspections implemented by the State Environmental Inspectorate of the Ministry of Nature Protection of the RA, a number of violations were revealed. These violations resulted in 12 administrative fines, which cost 680.0 thousands drams and 5 acts on compensation of environmental damage, about 796.7 thousands drams. This information is provided by the Press service of the Ministry of Nature Protection of the RA.
As a result of inspections, 288.0 kg of Sevan’s "whitefish were confiscated and were passed to orphanages and retirement homes.
Gegharkunik’s Territorial Department has found out illegal hunting case, assigned an administrative fine of 50.0 thousands drams to the physical person and calculated the damage to environment of 3.0 thousands drams.
Ararat’s Territorial Department has imposed an administrative fine of 50.0 thousands drams to the one person because of illegal hunting.
To sum up, the sanctions imposed by the Ministry of Nature Protection of the RA brought 2, 6 milions drams to the RA state budget.
