Iranians are interested in opening medical center in Armenia
Iran is interested in intensifying cooperation with Armenia in the health sector. Rasul Dinarvandi, Deputy Minister of Health said this during the meeting with RA Minister of Health.
He stated that private sector of Iran is interested in investing in Armenia, particularly for opening medical center.
“I am very glad that you are willing to intensify the bilateral cooperation in the health sector. Two months have been passed since our delegation’s visit to Iran. This visit enabled us to enhance our bilateral relations and to sign new cooperation agreements with new practical perspectives.” said RA Minister of Health. In the frameworks of the agreement two sides have created working groups on deputy minister level. Pharmaceutical sector was distinguished as a sphere of big opportunities for cooperation.
Iranian Deputy Minister noted that they want to use all methods for more effective cooperation in the health sector. Their delegation, headed by the Deputy Minister would visit all Armenian provinces and large pharmaceutical companies.
Earlier, in 2015, bilateral memorandum was signed on “Cooperation in health and medical education between Ministry of Health and Medical education of the Islamic Republic of Iran and RA Ministry of Health”.
